Ok, I checked the box that asked if I wanted to be notified if I had responses to my posting. Problem is I'm getting emails with the topic on them. Yes, I know, what did I THINK I was going to get. Maybe a notice but not listing the topic on them.
NO can do! Can you turn this off at your end? How do I stop the emails?
Sorry but I'm an electronic klutz.

I think you can stop it by clicking on notify again.
If you make sure you log out every time you're ready to leave the board, even if someone clicks on the url in the notification email, they won't be able to read the posts without your username and passwords.

So if I understand your question, you want to stop the notification emails right?
At the top of the board there's a tool bar. Starts with Home Help Search...
Click on the one titled Notification. There you can put a checkmark in the box next to the threads that you do NOT want to receive notifications on. Be sure to click the update notifications button when done.
Diane - some of the titles of our posts may not be great to be receiving at work. We're just all so descriptive! Perhaps that's really the concern? Just a thought

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU........................KATHRYN YOU SAVED ME FROM MY OWN ELECTRONIC NIGHTMARE.
I AGREE THAT MAYBE THE TOPIC NEEDS TO BE DROPPED FROM THE EMAILS -- MANY ARE, AS KATHRYN WROTE, VERY DESCRIPTIVE.

We have no control over what is sent in the notification emails.

No no, I didn't mean that the topic SHOULD be dropped from the emails. I just meant that was probably your concern. Even if it were possible to do this, and apparently it is not, what would the value be? You wouldn't know which thread has new posts. I'm glad the directions helped.
